Doreen McKeever -Life and Soul Celebrancy
My Name is Doreen. Originally from Ireland I am an independent life and marriage celebrant who has lived here in the wonderful Wairarapa for the last 18 years.
I have worked in the caring profession for most of my life. I have been a ward manager and currently work as a senior nurse in the specialty of orthopaedics. My background lends itself to taking great care of you and your family on your special day. Your ceremony will be created in full cooperation with you, taking your culture and spirituality into account. You can rely on me to create a completely individual ceremony for you and your family.
I have obtained a Certificate in Celebrant Studies from The Celebrant School here in New Zealand I am also a Buddhist so will ensure a humanist approach to all our encounters and decisions.
I offer many types of ceremony ranging from naming ceremonies for new babies to fully individualised marriage ceremonies.
I believe being a celebrant is an honour and I believe that, like nursing, caring about the client and their families is of paramount importance.
